Our teams are developing digital, data and AI solutions across the Group, creating a growing pipeline of ideas and opportunities from our businesses worldwide. We are creating the Head of Demand & Scaling role to bring these opportunities into one clear portfolio and ensure the initiatives with the greatest potential move beyond experimentation to deliver measurable value at scale. GETTING A FLYING START Reporting to the Director of Digital, Data & AI, you will own our end-to-end demand-to-scale pipeline – from intake and prioritisation through to roadmap sequencing, capacity commitment and industrialisation. You’ll make evidence-based decisions about what we progress, what we stop and what we scale, while partnering across Digital, Data & AI to turn successful pilots into reliable, adopted solutions. You’ll also be a close operating partner to the Director, bringing structure, visibility and execution discipline across the portfolio. HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Own the single demand intake and prioritisation process, turning digital, data and AI opportunities into a transparent, evidence-based portfolio focused on business value, feasibility and strategic fit. Lead the graduate / kill / scale decision process, making clear choices about which initiatives progress, stop or receive the investment required to scale. Own the master roadmap and capacity commitments, partnering with delivery leads to align scarce build capacity behind agreed priorities and resolving competing demands. Drive industrialisation from pilot to production, removing the barriers that prevent promising digital, data and AI solutions from becoming reliable, adopted and scalable capabilities. Measure value realisation, tracking outcomes against the benefits committed and using those insights to continuously improve portfolio decisions. Partner with Governance and senior leadership, balancing value and speed with risk, security and compliance while providing clear portfolio visibility and supporting an effective executive steering cadence. YOUR STARTING POINTS A strong track record of owning a digital, data, AI, product or transformation portfolio end-to-end, including making difficult prioritisation decisions and stopping initiatives when the evidence does not support further investment. Demonstrated experience taking solutions from pilot or proof of concept through to reliable production and adoption at scale, with measurable business outcomes. Exceptional influence-without-authority and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge, negotiate priorities and secure commitment across senior and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong fluency in digital, data and AI delivery, enabling you to credibly challenge feasibility, scalability, value and investment assumptions without needing to be the technical expert building the solution. Experience operating effectively alongside governance, risk, data and cybersecurity requirements, with an understanding of the considerations involved in scaling AI solutions responsibly. Strong portfolio, programme and executive steering capabilities, combining strategic thinking with the discipline to manage roadmaps, capacity, actions, dependencies and delivery through to completion.
