Full-Cycle Sales

Paris, Ile-de-France Hirondo Télétravail Temps partiel
Hirondo is a collective of senior marketing experts: around 280 independent consultants in our community, deployed on missions for start-ups, scale-ups and large groups. The model works, the brand is installed, and the commercial engine is being built right now. That last part is the job. Most sales roles stop at the signature, for even finding a freelancer or a consultant to execute the project. This one doesn't. You sell a promise, then you staff it, then you make sure the humans connect together, and you scope it out and you sign it. Harder than a pure closing job, but far more interesting. You own the accounts & you also own the expertise that makes the promise real. Win the mission, stay with the client before, during and after delivery, then go find the senior expert inside our community who will deliver it. Here's what we put in the scope of this role: 01
- Build pipeline, outbound & inbound
• Pick your targets: scale-ups, SMEs and large groups with a marketing gap, an interim need or a project that needs seniority.
• Reach the right people: CMO, VP Marketing, Head of Growth, founders and CEOs on smaller structures.
• Run outbound your way: LinkedIn, email, phone, warm intros from our community. Personalized, never automated volume.
• Handle inbound: website leads, referrals, community word of mouth. Fast and well qualified.
• Lead discovery: the real need, the stakes, the timing, the budget. Say no when it is not a fit.
• Write the proposal, defend it, negotiate the scope, close. We have a very solid database of past proposals and with the help of AI this takes you minutes not hours.
• Keep the pipeline honest in Notion. A clean pipeline is a sales weapon. our CEO, Yannig, is a data integrist and you will therefore need to have a fresh and properly filled pipeline 02
- Source the right experts in the community The other half of the job, and the part nobody expects from a sales role.
• Translate the brief into a precise profile: seniority, sector, stack, availability, day rate.
• Activate the community: post the brief on Slack, search our pool, approach the right people directly. we are a trustworthy and expert bunch and approach freelancers & consultants as partners, not only as cheap subcontractors
• Screen and shortlist on portfolio, relevance to the client's context and real capacity.
• Present the shortlist with a fair recommendation you stand behind, and defend it (we don't have freelancers compete against each other, we don't play down daily rates, we make sure everyone wins by working together)
• Secure the commitment: rate, scope, timing. Clear terms before kick-off, no surprises later. that is one of our most important added values.
• Know your bench. The day you can name three experts for any marketing brief without opening Notion or talking to our staffing agent , you have won. 03
- Stay with the client, before & after
• Run the kick-off and set expectations on both sides: scope, deliverables, rhythm, escalation path.
• Check in during the mission. Spot drift before it becomes a problem and decide with the delivery lead what to adjust.
• Close the loop at the end: what worked, what comes next, the testimonial, the renewal.
• Turn field conversations into renewals, extensions and referrals.
• surface any success and send it to our marketing team for social media activity or case studies. 04
- Grow the accounts we win
• Turn one mission into a second one: the need evolves, the team changes, the scope expands.
• Open new doors inside the account: other teams, other countries, other expertise.
• Keep the relationship alive between missions. The best pipeline is a client who calls you first.
• Build accounts that carry several missions and several experts. That is where the business compounds. 05
- Build the machine with marketing & AI
• Bring field feedback back into targeting, messaging and content. We are a team of builders and hate the "not my job" posture.
• Test outbound plays with the marketing team and keep what works. Contribute to the commercial playbook.
• Use & take AI seriously: account research, meeting prep, drafting, pipeline hygiene. Test, measure, share. What good looks like
• Month 3. You run a discovery alone and propose the right expert for a brief without asking for help.
• Month 6. Your own pipeline produces signed missions, and at least one account has grown past the first mission.
• Month 12. A repeatable playbook you helped write, a known bench of go-to experts, and a book of business you own.
• Beyond. You can build a sales team to increase our collective impact.

Your profile
How you sell and how you judge people matter more to us than the logo on your CV.
• You have already sold B2B services where the sale is an engagement: consulting, recruitment, freelance staffing, agency or tech services.
• You know what full cycle means: you prospect, you qualify, you close, you follow through.
• Fluent French & English. Our market is France, our clients increasingly work in English.
• Marketing vocabulary does not scare you. It is the topic of every conversation you will have.
• You are structured. Follow-ups land, notes exist, nothing quietly dies.
• You read people well enough to tell whether a senior freelancer will land with this client.
• Bonus: a network in the marketing or freelance ecosystem, or experience matching talent to a brief.

What we offer
• Full remote, French CDI. We work where it works, and we meet in person regularly.
• Fixed salary plus an uncapped variable. The split and the numbers, we discuss in the first call, openly.
• Real ownership. No (or little) inherited script. The commercial function is being built, and your methods become the playbook.
• Two jobs in one. Sales and talent, which gives you a complete view of the business and a credible path to leading it.
• A senior environment. You spend your days with people who have 15+ years in marketing, and with clients who expect that level.
