Role Description The Senior Solutions Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Paris, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the individual collaborates closely with sales teams and customers to design, present, and validate Riverbed’s observability and acceleration solutions for complex enterprise environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical discovery, creating solution architectures, performing product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements, and guiding customers through integration and deployment best practices. The Senior Solutions Engineer also provides technical expertise during the sales cycle, responds to RFPs/RFIs, supports pilots, and acts as a trusted advisor to address performance, scalability, and security requirements. Ongoing activities include documenting solution designs, delivering technical enablement to partners, and staying current with Riverbed technologies and industry trends. Qualifications
• Strong background in Software Development and Integration, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure solutions.
• Experience in Consulting, including technical discovery, solution design, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.
• Proven track record in Sales and Presales engineering, including leading technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Solid understanding of networking, application performance, observability, and cloud/hybrid architectures.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in or with large enterprise environments; background in APM, NPM, or performance engineering is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English; French language skills and familiarity with the local market are advantageous.
