Paris, France (Hybrid / On-site as required) Engagement: Project-based consulting assignment Seniority: Senior / Expert Level Duration: Approximately 9 weeks (indicative, subject to confirmation) About the OpportunityAeximius is seeking an experienced Senior IT Transformation & Data Governance Consultant to support a strategic digital transformation assessment for a major European organization. This assignment requires a highly analytical, business-oriented professional capable of evaluating complex enterprise reporting environments, identifying opportunities for improvement, and defining a structured, actionable transformation roadmap. The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in IT architecture, business intelligence, data governance, process optimization, and enterprise transformation consulting, with the ability to engage confidently with executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of an existing enterprise reporting and business intelligence environment.
• Evaluate current IT architecture, system integrations, data flows, reporting processes, and operational dependencies.
• Assess data governance, data quality, access controls, auditability, and internal control mechanisms.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, technical limitations, and opportunities for process standardization and automation.
• Interview key business and technical stakeholders, including finance, operations, sales, IT, and senior management.
• Analyze business requirements and distinguish critical operational needs from legacy practices.
• Evaluate transformation scenarios, including optimization, modernization, replacement, and hybrid approaches.
• Assess financial and organizational implications, including total cost of ownership (TCO), risks, benefits, and implementation feasibility.
• Recommend target governance principles and a prioritized transformation roadmap.
• Prepare executive-level findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation for future implementation decisions. Required Qualifications & Experience
• Significant professional experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, or data governance.
• Proven track record conducting IT assessments, enterprise system diagnostics, or technology transformation studies.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence platforms, reporting architectures, data integration, and enterprise information systems.
• Experience with data governance, internal controls, data quality management, and process harmonization.
• Ability to evaluate complex IT environments from both technical and business perspectives.
• Experience developing transformation strategies, target operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver structured, decision-oriented recommendations.
• Professional fluency in French and English. Highly Valued Experience
• Previous consulting experience with large European enterprises or multinational organizations.
• Background in finance, commercial performance reporting, revenue management, or operational analytics.
• Experience working across multiple business units, sites, or countries.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, internal audit practices, and enterprise risk management.
• Previous involvement in technology modernization, application rationalization, or BI transformation projects.
• Experience with consulting firms or independent senior advisory assignments.
