Stethos International conducts international healthcare market research for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
As the Stethos Group celebrates its 30th anniversary, we are looking for a Research & Account Manager to lead complex, multi-country studies and turn research findings into clear recommendations for our clients.
Our work focuses on specialized therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, rare diseases, immunology, ophthalmology and cardiology. We work with major pharmaceutical companies and connect different sources of healthcare intelligence to understand what is happening, where and why it is happening, and what it means for patients and the business.
You will work closely with our research team and the General Manager, combining responsibility for high-quality research delivery with the ongoing management and development of a portfolio of international client accounts.
Beyond individual studies, you will build lasting client relationships, understand their evolving business priorities and identify opportunities for Stethos International to support them through further research and consulting.
Your responsibilities
Client account management and development
• Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business priorities, therapeutic areas and decision-making needs to provide relevant, proactive advice.
• Maintain regular contact beyond active projects, following up on how findings are used and anticipating future research needs.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and introduce relevant Stethos research and intelligence solutions.
• Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns promptly and coordinate internal teams to ensure a consistent client experience.
• Help prepare proposals for assigned accounts, coordinating methodological input, scope, pricing and timelines with the research team and General Manager.
• Support commercial discussions and negotiations in collaboration with the General Manager.
• In the longer term, take ownership of a portfolio of international client accounts, acting as a key point of contact and building trusted relationships with global teams and local affiliates. Research design and client advice
• Translate clients’ business questions into robust quantitative & qualitative research designs, including surveys, trackers and patient record studies.
• Advise on methodological approach, sampling, content, analysis plans and the interpretation of findings.
• Connect research findings to clients’ strategic priorities and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Present findings effectively to stakeholders at global and local levels. Study leadership and quality
• Lead international projects across the full research lifecycle, coordinating internal colleagues and fieldwork partners.
• Manage complex programs across multiple markets, including projects involving 15 or more countries.
• Oversee questionnaire development, fieldwork, data quality checks, analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to automation, dashboard implementation and operational deliverables for global and local teams.
• Bring together findings from different sources to identify meaningful patterns and their implications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, scope and deliverable quality, balancing client expectations with operational feasibility and project profitability.
• Identify changes in scope early and agree any implications for costs, timelines or deliverables with the client. Team development and research innovation
• Guide and develop less experienced researchers.
• Design efficient workflows and explore practical ways to integrate AI into research processes.
• Help improve our research approaches and ways of working.

• Strong command of research design, sampling, questionnaire development, data analysis and insight generation.
