This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters and PhD-level biologists who want to do meaningful, intellectually stimulating work on their own schedule. No prior AI experience required — your scientific expertise is what matters.

What You'll Do
• Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, rigorous problem sets
• Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning and flag errors in scientific logic, methodology, or accuracy
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model capabilities
• Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule Who You Are
• Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
• Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis
• Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can explain complex science precisely and accessibly
• Detail-oriented and methodical — scientific accuracy is non-negotiable for you
• Fluent in English Nice to Have
• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background spanning multiple biology subdisciplines
• Experience writing for scientific audiences — papers, grants, technical reports
