• The Organisation Our client is a French private higher education institution specialising in fashion design and related creative disciplines. The school combines a distinctive creative identity with practical expertise and close connections to the fashion industry. Its positioning is premium and specialised, with a strong emphasis on individual expression and creative excellence. Part of a global higher education group, the school combines the agility of a focused institution with the resources and international reach of a wider network. The school is entering a new phase of development, strengthening its in-house capabilities and investing in its digital infrastructure, CRM and student recruitment activities. This creates an opportunity to help shape its marketing and commercial approach and contribute directly to its growth. International recruitment is central to this ambition. The school aims to broaden its reach, develop its international recruitment partnerships and build effective acquisition and conversion channels across markets. Based in Paris, the Sales & Marketing Senior Manager will play a hands-on role in this development. The position calls for practical international recruitment experience, strong digital acquisition capability, commercial conversion skills and disciplined operational management. 2. The Role ACS wishes to recruit a Sales & Marketing Senior Manager (M/F), a newly created Paris-based position reporting hierarchically to Barbara Curto, School Director, and functionally to two Galileo Global Education Italia leaders based in Milan: the head of CRM and the director in charge of agency relationships worldwide. The successful candidate will build and continuously improve the student acquisition and enrolment strategy, with particular emphasis on incremental international enrolments. The position combines strategy with hands-on execution. The Senior Manager title, rather than Head of, reflects the highly operational nature of the role. It offers a current manager a genuine career step, with prospects for further growth as the activity develops. International student recruitment development
• Assess international markets and prioritise opportunities without an imposed geographical focus.
• Create ACS-specific international recruitment channels, agency relationships and other sourcing partnerships.
• Act as the first point of contact for international recruitment agencies, replying within one to two working days and paying close attention to agency satisfaction. This activity is entirely new for ACS and is currently handled by the School Director.
• Build ACS’s own relationships with agencies already working with other Galileo schools (Istituto Marangoni, NABA, Domus Academy), presenting ACS’s distinctive positioning and earning their trust despite lower tuition-based commissions.
• Commission marketing materials for agencies from the communication and digital marketing teams.
• Translate market opportunities into measurable additional enrolments, supporting the objective of more than 40 incremental international students. Digital marketing and lead generation
• Lead a performance-oriented mix of paid acquisition (including SEA and paid social) and organic channels (SEO, GEO and referrals).
• Manage website performance, user experience, lead quality and external media, analytics and web partners.
• Lead the launch of the new website (March 2027) and the transition to Galileo Italia’s support functions.
• Supervise and coach the newly recruited Digital Marketing specialist, bringing hands-on SEA and acquisition expertise to a junior team member. Sales, admissions and conversion
• Oversee the complete prospect journey, from enquiry and qualification to confirmed enrolment.
• Improve responsiveness, follow-up, conversion rates and candidate experience.
• Manage the colleague in charge of admissions and align acquisition with conversion. CRM and performance management
• Use Salesforce, Galileo’s mandatory CRM platform, to manage leads, activity, pipelines, conversion and reporting.
• Maintain reliable data, sales forecasts, acquisition KPIs and commercially relevant insights.
• Coordinate reporting and process standards with Galileo Italia. Leadership and international coordination
• Lead an initial team of two employees: Digital Marketing and Admissions.
• Set objectives, coach staff and coordinate relevant agencies and partners.
• Operate effectively within a matrix structure combining local operational responsibility and Italian functional oversight. The role does not include the academic selection of students. This description is indicative and not exhaustive. 3. Candidate profile (M/F) ACS is seeking an experienced commercial and international recruitment professional able to build a new activity within the financial and positioning constraints of a specialised private institution.
• Demonstrated international student recruitment, enrolment or comparable premium B2C business development achievements.
• Proven capacity to open acquisition channels and, ideally, create or develop international recruitment partnerships.
• Mandatory hands-on Salesforce proficiency: lead management, pipelines, data quality, conversion monitoring and reporting.
• Strong competence in digital acquisition and performance measurement, alongside an understanding of the human admissions journey.
• Team leadership, commercial judgement, analytical discipline, agility and a hands-on working style.
• Professional fluency in French and English, sufficient for regular exchanges with Galileo Italia and international applicants. Experience of private higher education is strongly preferred. Significant international professional exposure is important to the Client, who wishes to bring a more international culture to the school: candidates of any nationality are welcome, as are French candidates who have spent several years working abroad and are now based in Paris. An affinity for fashion and creative fields is an asset, but fashion-sector experience is not a prerequisite. No language other than French and English is required. Candidates from premium B2C services, or from digital acquisition (SEA/SEO) agencies, may be considered when their skills demonstrably transfer to student recruitment.
