Job Description

Under this assignment, the senior director reports to the SVP Sales & Marketing Division within the central Sales & Marketing team for Space, extending its services and assistance to the operational sales & marketing teams of each Business Unit of the division (Data Systems/ Reosc/ Syrlinks /SSP)

The Senior Director assignment is as follows:
1) Identify the different prime contractors and bidding channels for the connectivity constellations opportunities and create relevant occasions to allow a pitch of Safran capabilities.

2) For each opportunity, identify the key stake-holders prone to consider Safran Space Division solutions, either for the inclusion in their own perimeter, or likely to specify requirements Promote and secure Safran Space Division products throughout international Connectivity constellation opportunities, with a fairly balanced amount of involvement for all involved Business Unit products.

3) Extend entire support to the Space Division Business Units sales & marketing teams by providing timely contextual and competition awareness for the above mentioned opportunities, and complementary work by interfacing with the customers at a different level than the usual points of contacts of the Business Units sales & marketing teams.

Connectivity constellations is declared as a “Strategic Market Segment”.
In light of the multiplication of commercial megaconstellation programs, Safran Space must address these opportunities in a federated fashion so-as-to leverage all benefits the customer may take from working with us. Namely, programs such as but not limited to European IRIS², that can benefit from our onboard Syrlinks radio equipment offering, our low power electric propulsion solutions, gateway tracking antennas etc.

Job Requirements

Space connectivity/satcom business veteran (10+Y of XP) with extensive network and deals track record. Possibility for young talented & curious staff (5Y XP with demonstrated skills of business development)
