CarboZym is seeking a highly talented and driven Business Advisor to join our Advisory Board. Partnering with the CEO you will help refine the go-to-market strategy and with commercial partnership development efforts.
In this capacity, your missions will center around:
Go-to-market:
- Refine the go-to-market strategy based on internal business intelligence and external customer engagement.
- Contribute to business model definition.
Commercial partnerships:
- Leveraging your network, spearhead the development of new commercial partnerships and help negotiate agreements with key chemical offtakers and consumer brands.
- Effective Communication:
- Deliver clear, concise advices to the founding team, emphasizing project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights for ongoing improvement.
- Team building and leadership: Help build and manage the commercial team as we scale.
Candidates with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Abilities and expertise we are looking for :
- Problem-solving / logical reasoning ability
- World-class network in the chemical industry and/or consumer product industry
- 15+ years of experience in the origination / development / realization of commercial partnership for the deployment of first-of-a-kind technologies (in sectors such as sustainable chemicals and/or sustainable marine fuels)
- Expertise in collaboratively drafting legal agreements with legal counsel (including offtake agreements, joint development agreements, etc.) aimed at establishing mutually beneficial commercial partnerships
CarboZym is at the forefront of developing innovative carbon utilization technologies. These technologies transform industrial carbon emissions into sustainable chemicals with remarkable efficiency in terms of both energy use and cost. By replacing fossil-based resources in the production of essential chemicals, CarboZym's approach has the potential to significantly reduce the chemical industry's carbon footprint, potentially cutting over 500 million tons of CO2 emissions annually - more than 10% of the chemical industry's total.
The company's interdisciplinary team is making strides in biochemical, chemical, and systems engineering to create an entirely new biotechnological approach. Our goal is to make carbon transformation a commercially viable and industrially scalable reality.
Currently, CarboZym is progressing towards a medium-scale Proof-of-Concept for our CO2 conversion technology. Simultaneously, we are forming crucial partnerships to develop a groundbreaking large-scale industrial prototype, paving the way for future commercial deployment.
