Job Description

We are currently seeking a Quality Director M/W that defines and drives Quality Strategy, Vision and Quality Management Systems for our Winter Sports Operations Division in order to guarantee consumer and end-consumer satisfaction. The role is based in Annecy, France or in Altenmarkt, Austria.

The Quality Director oversees 3 product divisions (Ski, Binding & Alpine Boots) for 3 Brands with the support of quality teams (60 team members including 10 direct reports) located in 5 countries (France, Romania, Italy, Austria & Bulgaria).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide quality vision and develop the quality strategy for the Division Winter Sports Operations.
  • Be responsible of the Quality system, quality performance and Cost of Quality for the Division Winter Sports Operations.
  • Roll-out quality strategy and continuous improvement into end-to-end quality program between the 3 brands, the Operations and the Winter Sports Customer service.
  • Develop and manage quality organization in 5 countries and 3 product divisions.
  • Support transversal quality processes development, improvement, and group reporting at Amer Sports Supply Chain Operations.

 

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un Directeur de la Qualité F/H qui définira et dirigera la stratégie, la vision et le système de management de la qualité pour Division Winter Sports Operations, afin de garantir la satisfaction du consommateur et du consommateur final. Le poste est basé à Annecy, France ou Altenmarkt, Autriche.

Le Directeur Qualité supervise 3 lignes de produits (ski, fixations et chaussures de ski alpin) pour 3 marques avec le soutien de ses équipes qualité (60 membres de l'équipe dont 10 rapports directs) situées dans 5 pays (France, Roumanie, Italie, Autriche et Bulgarie).

Rôle et responsabilités :

  • Fournir une vision de la qualité et développer la stratégie qualité de la Division Winter Sports Operations ;
  • Être garant du système de la qualité et de la performance en matière de qualité et du coût de la qualité pour la Division Winter Sports Operations ;
  • Déployer la stratégie qualité dans un programme d’amélioration continue impliquant 3 marques, les opérations et le service client Winter Sports ;
  • Manager la fonction qualité et en développer l’organisation qualité dans 5 pays et pour 3 lignes de produits.
  • Soutenir le développement et l'amélioration des processus de qualité transversaux et le reporting au sein du groupe Amer Sports Supply Chain Operations.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10 years+ in a Quality management role with a product-oriented experience (development and production).
  • Experience within the Winter Sports industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of some Winter Sports Equipment Industry processes (Injection, mechanical assembling, composite, stitching,…) and technologies (Plastic, metallic, composite and soft material technologies).

    • You have the ability to manage high quality standards in a not-certified organism.
    • Pedagogy to embed ‘product’ quality and related processes (APQP, QA/QC, Claim management,…) within production and development team.
    • Strong problem-solving experience and crisis management.
  • Relationship Building: You actively seek to build and cement relationships; understand the able to leverage the differences in power and work styles. Foster proactive communication between stakeholder groups and have the ability to navigate a complex matrix organization and business (Multi-brand and multi-cultural environment).

  • Languages: Fluent in English (C1)
  • IT: Microsoft Office

 

Expérience essentielles

  • Plus de 10 ans dans un rôle de manager d’une fonction qualité avec une expérience orientée produit (développement et production).
  • Une expérience dans l'industrie des sports d'hiver est un atout.
  • Connaissance de certains processus de l'industrie du Sport d’Hiver (injection, assemblage mécanique, composite, couture...) et de certaines technologies (technologies des matières plastiques, métalliques, composites et souples).

Compétences essentielles

  • Leadership : Vous avez la capacité de construire, fédérer et orienter des groupes pour atteindre vos objectifs. Vous formulez des stratégies, conduisez le changement, mobilisez et créez une équipe de leaders capables d’inspirer. Vous possédez les compétences en gestion, développement et coaching pour développer des équipes.
  • Compétences stratégiques : Vous avez la capacité d’analyser les problèmes et de développer de nouvelles approches. Vous façonnez vos plans en fonction de la stratégie commerciale globale et êtes capable de traduire la stratégie d’entreprise en votre propre activité.
    • Vous avez la capacité de gérer des normes de qualité élevées dans un organisme non certifié.
    • Vous disposez d’une certaine pédagogie pour intégrer la qualité du produit et les processus associés (APQP, QA/QC, gestion des réclamations, …) au sein de l’équipe de production et de développement.
    • Expérience solide en résolution de problèmes et gestion de crise.
  • Création de relations : Vous cherchez activement à établir et à consolider des relations ; vous comprenez et savez tirer parti des différences de pouvoir et des styles de travail. Vous favorisez une communication proactive entre les groupes de parties prenantes et avez la capacité de naviguer dans une organisation et une entreprise complexe (environnement multi-marques et multiculturel).
