About Our Client
We are actively searching for a Managing Director to spearhead a metal conversion production facility located in the Western part of Czech Republic/boarder to Germany. This role is crucial for driving the integration of this facility into the Austrian based corporate group, and for guiding the business toward substantial growth, profitability enhancement, and an increased market presence.
Job Description
- Oversee production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
- Meet production goals within budget.
- Implement and monitor KPIs for performance.
- Lead and develop managers and supervisors.
- Foster teamwork and high performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and give feedback.
- Spend four days per week on-site at the plant in the Czech Republic to ensure operational excellence.
- Seamlessly integrate the Czech operations into the broader corporate framework.
The Successful Applicant
- Extensive experience in plant operations.
- Strong acumen in lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and maximise efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and synchronise business processes across multiple locations.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic shift system, prepared for future expansion.
- Track record in financial responsibility for large-scale operations.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities with a proven record in team management.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and German necessary.
