Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Logistic & Export Control Custodian (m/f) ​to join our Material support and Logistics department based in Marignane Les Florides, France.

You will be part of a team, which has, among its missions, the responsibility to:

  • Based on Export control requirements and rules, ensure compliance of the business

  • Improve process and logistic data quality to avoid customs blockage

  • Support business to maintain the requested level of performance & compliance

As part of this team, your key missions will be :

  • Ensure that Export control rules (for all regulation) are fully applied for french flow in Material Support organization (for tangible and intangible topics)

  • Ensure Classifications are available to reach the expected performance of deliveries

  • Support the operations concerning Logistic data (HS code, COO, Net weight…) and take into account the external constraints to deploy them inside the organization.

                                                                                                                 

These missions will be under the guidance of the Logistic Regulatory Compliance Custodian (Team leader) who will be the focal point inside Airbus Helicopter and who will ensure the harmonization between France and Germany.

Your challenges:

In the frame of previous missions, the R&R are:

  • Implement all necessary export control rules and data classification inside the organization

  • Support locally french business teams on export control basics and classification rules

  • ​You will work with various stakeholders (Export control, technical raters, Procurement, Front office, warehouse …).
    This role is key to ensure the compliance without jeopardizing the business performance.

  • Guaranty that Export control rules are fully applied locally. Alert when necessary

  • Follow export control violations and lead necessary PPS (Practical Problem Solving) for the anomalies detected

  • Work closely with German counterpart to ensure harmonization

  • Ensure training of business actors when necessary (With the support of central expert)

  • Ensure process improvement when needed as well as the Support process updates.

  • Verify process adherence.Monitor mandatory classifications and data cleansing through periodic routines

  • Perform Data correction on demand for Logistic & Customs (Country of origin, Net weight, HS code) to avoid custom blockages

  • Perform Data analysis (logistic, export control…) to assess business impact before new rules implementation

  • Support to Project on export control topics

  • Follow and implement new topics arriving in 2024 (Explosive materials, UK regulation, ...)

To be a successful candidate, the following backgrounds will be a plus

  • Experience in Airbus Helicopters support & services activities

  • Knowledge of logistic processes

  • Experience in Export control and Customs

  • SAP knowledge
