The Service and Repair Pricing Strategy Lead will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of pricing and contracting strategies for our service and repair offerings. This leader will be expected to provide direction, alignment and standardization to a complex and inconsistent regional Service and Repair (S&R) landscape. This key leadership role will require a deep understanding of our industry, market dynamics, cost structures, and customer needs to drive profitable growth while maintaining our competitive edge.
A Day in the Life
You will be responsible for:
• Developing and executing pricing & contracting strategies for service and repair offerings that align with business objectives, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, across all business units and market segments, with a primary focus on CEMA, LATAM and APAC.
• Analysing pricing structures and profit margins to ensure that service and repair offerings are financially viable and contribute to overall profitability; determining optimal price points for service and repair offerings based on cost considerations, market demand, value perception, and competitive positioning; Developing strategies for discounting, and contribute to pricing incentives to drive sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Establishing S&R core processes and tools related to price definition, price setting ad price governance.
• Creating S&R price performance reporting capabilities, processes and tools in close collaboration with Insights & Analytics CoE: define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing, revenue, profitability; build and implement dashboards; monitor and communicate key performance metrics; regularly assess pricing effectiveness, make recommendations and implement adjustments.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, yearly price increase/optimization, and revenue growth through data analysis and feedback from stakeholders
• Enhancing strategic pricing knowledge among S&R Commercial and marketing teams: build reference material (playbook), organize regular training sessions, evaluate impact…
• Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to S&R pricing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Must Haves
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Extensive experience and proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability, within Service & Repair organizations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Available for some international travel
Nice to Haves
• MBA or advanced degree
• Experience with Price Management Systems is a plus
