Role Overview:

The Global Inventory Planning Manager is pivotal in linking markets with brand companies to ensure seamless inventory management and order fulfillment across our global operations. This role focuses on ensuring product availability and optimizing the supply chain process to meet customer demands efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Process Ownership:

  • Own and refine the replenishment planning process across all market companies.
  • Collaborate with regional and global tech teams to align with the corporate strategy and tech roadmaps.
  • Ensure process consistency while adapting to local market specifics.

Strategic Planning and Optimization:

  • Develop and implement a global replenishment strategy to balance inventory levels, optimize lead times, and enhance customer service.
  • Integrate replenishment plans with sales forecasts, production schedules, and distribution logistics.
  • Streamline inventory management (safety stock, reorder points, replenishment cycles) to optimize resource use.

Performance Metrics and KPIs:

  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to replenishment and inventory management.
  • Analyze performance across the organization to track Forecast Cover, Inventory Value, Obsolete Stock, and Casefill Rate.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Identify and address process inefficiencies, implement best practices and technological solutions.
  • Lead training initiatives and change management processes to enhance replenishment operations.

Risk Management and Contingency Planning:

  • Proactively manage supply chain risks related to disruptions or geopolitical factors.
  • Develop and execute contingency plans to maintain supply chain resilience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Postgraduate degree preferred; substantial experience in supply chain management may substitute for formal education.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in supply chain inventory management, ideally with leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Methodology: DDMRP knowledge is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in strategic planning, risk management, and performance monitoring. Demonstrated ability in leading large teams indirectly and driving change across organizational boundaries.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
