OVERVIEW:

The Account Executive, will drive top-line revenue growth through the expansion of our Instructor Led Classroom training business and e-learning footprint within our existing account base as well as identify new opportunities outside the base. The successful Account Executive will have a track record of building strategic relationships and will grow an ambitious pipeline of business through exceeding client expectations, creativity, and strong team collaboration. Expanding our Tech & Dev portfolio line directly to established accounts. This will require the ability to navigate through complex organizations and sell to multiple decision-makers, including the “C Suite”.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

Develop a thorough understanding of Skillsoft sales plays and training portfolio. Sell our vast content solutions line(s) directly to SMB, Enterprise customers, and corporate decision makers. Own responsibility to meet and exceed revenue goals. Drive top-line revenue growth through the acquiring new customers, and expanding of our footprint within existing account base. Influence prospects at the senior leadership level. Collaborate with specialists to sell blended learning technology products, and identify cross-sell opportunities.  Win by representing a solution line with key competitive differentiators. Establish strategic plans and objectives to drive desired business growth. Hunter by nature and working style. Selling is based on math….X number of outreaches, Y conversations, Z meetings to build 4-5X coverage in pipeline. Partner with related sales, marketing, and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration. Meeting prep with research, agendas agreed on by prospect and a tailored presentation coupled with impeccable follow-up. Outline measurable and defined business objectives and goals with timelines, (related to revenue and growth of whitespace). Provide management, feedback and recommendations on pipeline health, risk, opportunity, and progress.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluency in English is essential, but excellent writing skills in French are also expected. Experience in the Instructor Led, EdTech, HCM or SaaS space is preferred. 5-8 years successful sales experience. Top 10% performer as an individual contributor with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.). Knowledge of public co-financing schemes a plus (FNE, CPF, POEC, POI, …) Ability to exceed sales targets, a keen understanding of the steps involved in a sales cycle and ability to leverage each stage to advance the sale. Knowledge of MEDDPIC or Command of the Message methodology Experienced in using a CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, … Ability to manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth. Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude. Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close. Ability to understand complex client requirements and to clearly articulate the company’s offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirements. Ability to prospect with a structured activity model to maximize revenue growth. Skilled at demonstrating solutions and speaking the language of corporate buyers and respectfully challenge their thinking. Willingness to take ownership – and solve – problems.
