Contract : permanent
Reporting to the Digital and Service Excellence Director, the Laboratory Operational Excellence Manager plays a pivotal role within our global R&D Solutions Digital and Service Excellence team, dedicated to building maintaining and continuously improving capabilities and leading programs aimed at equipping operational laboratories across regions with processes and tools to ensure optimized, efficient, and effective functioning.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of 5 years leadership experience at a regional or global level, in a complex, rapidly changing environment
Demonstrable broad laboratory knowledge and experience and understanding of business processes
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects/ change programs
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to adapt to the audience
Strong interpersonal and line management skills
Fluent in writing and speaking English
What will be your key responsibilities?
The job holder is in charge of leading a team who is building maintaining and continuously improving capabilities and leading programs aiming to guarantee access to testing for all manufacturing sites with the performance, at the right cost and at the right time, in a seamless way. This includes but is not limited to the following key responsibilities:
Ensure that every manufacturing site has access to the required tests. Defines and drives insourcing/outsourcing strategy for testing.
Ensure that our Regional Laboratories are equipped to operate in an efficient and effective way. Drives processes standardization across our laboratories operations where it makes sense.
Oversees the optimization of our external partner laboratory network, maximizing its efficiency and business value through Global Strategic Suppliers.
Define and own the lab business continuity framework to ensure the continuity of our lab operations during disruption.
Ensure the right frameworks are being defined to ensure Associates safety and drive a step-change in the sustainability impact of our operations.
Drive the evolution of our testing service delivery model in response to evolving business needs.
