This position can be based in Paris or in Full-Remote within a maximum time difference of about +/- 2 hours with Paris.


Team
Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts.

Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.


Joining our Live games team means collaborating with gaming industry experts on globally renowned, enduring games, while embracing exciting new entrepreneurial ventures.

With over seven billion downloads worldwide and a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games generating more than $20m per year, we are the largest and most successful hybrid publisher in the world.


Voodoo is creating a small experimentation team with a big mission: find the next best way to entertain the world by taking our best hits to a new level.


You will be one of the first members in a team of six and you will participate in every aspect of development, from ideation to testing the casual games in the market.

The 'Live' games team is working on hybrid-casual games like:
Mob Control

Collect Em All

Uboat Attack

Bubble Fall

Block Jam 3D

Role:

  • Oversee the creative vision and direction of a live game with a large playerbase, ensuring a cohesive and appealing visual style.
  • Lead the design and development of game assets, including characters, environments, and user interface elements, with a focus on creating a memorable player experience.
  • Drive the enhancement of the game with striking visual effects (VFX) and fluid animations, setting high standards for visual quality.
  • Coordinate closely with development teams to integrate artistic elements in Unity, addressing technical challenges through innovative solutions.
  • Guide the use of 2D and 3D techniques to elevate game visuals, making strategic decisions based on the game's needs.
  • Champion the adoption of advanced art production tools and techniques to streamline workflows and improve asset quality.

  • Extensive experience in art direction within the mobile gaming industry, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Strong technical acumen to optimize assets and workflows for mobile platforms, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
  • Solid artistic foundations with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering visually stunning games.
  • A collaborative leader, skilled in fostering teamwork and communication, adept at giving and receiving feedback to drive creative excellence.
