We also provide the world’s premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC’s unique independence, integrity, and expertise.

ICC Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) has administered more than 28,000 cases in its one-hundred-year history. The DRS Documentation and Research Centre (“the Centre”) manages unique resources and data enabling specialised DRS knowledge management, research and studies. The Centre is hiring a Digital Resources Officer in charge of managing digital and physical resources. The role will be based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris.



The role


Joining a team of international legal researchers under the supervision of the Documentation and Research Centre Manager, the Digital Resources Officer will::

  • Collect and organise specific dispute resolution materials (such as digital and physical documents, academic articles, slides, statistical reports, ICC records, etc.) for DRS staff and external users
  • Conduct documentary/statistical research, collaborate with DRS staff where relevant
  • Contribute to DRS projects relating to the Centre
  • Identify and monitor relevant documentary and informational sources (legal publications, databases, etc.) for legal and economic developments
  • Propose content for and format the weekly DRS internal newsletter
  • Catalogue and monitor subscriptions
  • Assist the manager of the Centre with administrative tasks including book orders and database subscriptions
  • Identify potential purchases to grow ICC’s collection of resources
  • Train and assist DRS staff on effectively using the resources of the Centre

Requirements


  • A relevant degree in documentation or knowledge management
  • Three to five years of experience in knowledge management, ideally within a legal environment
  • Excellent oral and writing skills in both English and French
  • Knowledge of information management tools such as SharePoint and ideally of Jus Mundi and Kluwer databases
  • Familiarity with LegalTech and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence
  • Respect for confidentiality and ability to manage priorities and to work autonomously
  • Strong sense of team spirit and commitment
  • Service-oriented and eager to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment
  • Responsive with excellent organisation
