Job Title: HR Director - Western Europe Region (France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and Portugal)

Location: Paris, France (with regular travel across the region)

Reports to: Regional CEO & International HR Director – Part of the Central HR Team (Group Level)

Team: 6 HR Business Partners, 4 Recruiters, 2 HR Operations Specialists


Key Accountabilities


HR Operations Oversight:

  • Oversee the entire Employee Life Cycle within the region, including Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, manage litigation and social relations, including Workers' Councils and other employee representative bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Processes and Policies.
  • Health and Safety management in collaboration with the local H&S teams.


HR Leadership & Strategy:

  • Provide functional leadership to a diverse HR team, including 6 HR Business Partners, 4 Recruiters, and 2 HR Operations Specialists, located across multiple countries within the region. (team will grow over the next years).
  • Developing and executing regional HR strategies and initiatives through partnering with the Regional Leadership team.
  • Supporting the region´s HR Digital Transformation.
  • Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change, i.e. M&A, Tenders and Restructuration.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with the Managing Directors of each country within the region, as well as the regional CFO.
  • Work closely with the International Central HR department to ensure adherence to Group Processes and Policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership on all HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Member of the Regional Executive Team.


Required Skills & Qualifications


Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a senior HR leadership role within an international environment, ideally within the real estate, facilities management, or industrial sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR teams across multiple countries and driving Best Practice.


Skills:

  • Fluency in English and at least one other language spoken within the Western Europe region.
  • Strong understanding of the full Employee Lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, L&D and Compensation & Benefit.
  • Excellent interpersonal and (verbal and written) communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the region.
  • Crisis communication capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage Employee Relations issues and targets.
  • Experience in implementation an HRIS or Change Projects.
  • Experience and interest in Diversity & Inclusion Management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
  • Experience in dealing with Work Unions.
  • Ability to manage complex HR Projects.
  • Strong understanding of Employment Law.
