From Claire Joster International, we are looking for a Head of Sales in France for our client, a global leader in Eye Care Solutions.

About our client
Our client is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of products for the cleaning and maintenance of all types of contact lenses, as well as ocular health solutions. The company offers a wide range of innovative products, including multipurpose solutions, preservative-free eye drops, and specialized cleaning systems for contact lense.
Your role
- Work closely with the Head of Sales International Direct Markets to devise and execute a country-level strategy to achieve commercial and people objectives.
- Contribute to business growth in the Spanish territory in alignment with our European strategy. Be responsible for sales volume and pricing in the French market.
- Manage country sales team with high emotional intelligence to motivate and drive team performance.
- Manage key accounts and negotiate commercial terms.
- Work with the Marketing team at Madrid Headquarters to ensure that the necessary marketing materials are developed for the country.
- Undertake effective KOL development activities to be recognised as the eye care solutions country figurehead and leader.
- Arrange, manage, and execute country congresses and country-level events to promote the company and drive new business leads.
- Compilation of local market assessment and analysis of Eye Care Solutions market potential both in pharma and optical channels to include (but not limited to) competitors, SWOT analyses, KOL targets, customer targets, pricing levels etc.
- Effective Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) in conjunction with Supply Chain colleagues and Demand Planner to ensure accurate forecasting for country stock requirements.
- Follow trends in the Contact Lens Solutions and Ocular Health Industries and share with regional head/management colleagues as appropriate.
Your profile
- Relevant academic background, e.g. degree in Business Administration, Medical Technology or similar.
- Extensive proven track record of success in commercial sales roles in pharma or medical devices.
- Leadership experience is a must.
- Experience in Medical Devices > Optician > Ophthalmology > Pharma would be highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills – written, oral and when presenting in French.
- Ability to build strong relationships with country Key Market Stakeholders and internal colleagues
