Your next challenge
Considering the importance of the Banking & Finance law environment following the Pluxee spin-off (including electronic money and payment services aspects) and to support the Corporate HQ teams and its subsidiaries in their new challenges, Pluxee is looking to recruit a Head of Banking & Finance Legal Dpt who will report directly to Pluxee General Counsel & Board Secretary and will be a member of the broader Pluxee Group legal community.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Provide high quality, sound, cost-effective, strategic advice and legal support in legal financial matters (mainly with Payment and Treasury/Banking teams).
- Draft, review and negotiate all types of agreements including external financings (bond issuance, revolving credit facilities, syndicated loans, commercial papers), assignment of receivables, ISDA, Swift network, financial guarantees, intragroup debt arrangements, selecting and coordinating law firms when relevant.
- Contribute to the implementation and management of the Group cash pooling and of the delegations of banking powers.
- Supervise the legal management of the various countries e-money/payment programs, interacting especially with the Payment Competence Center and collaborating with Imagor teams (our group Belgian financial institution regulated by the National Bank of Belgium).
- Supervise the negotiation and implementation of legal documentation related to payment programs (regarding banking schemes, providers, affiliates, clients and cardholders), ensure compliance with the regulatory obligations, monitor the relationships with local financial authorities.
- Raise awareness, create and implement the relevant policies, processes, guidelines, trainings and best practices to be cascaded to Pluxee internal stakeholders, and promote a listed company culture across the organization
- Liaise with global legal peers, participate in global legal network and cooperate in transversal initiatives internally, and as the case may be externally (AFEP, MEDEF, ANSA).
- Manage the legal Banking & Finance team (starting with a Payment Legal counsel) and Responsible for the regulatory watch.
- Protect Pluxee Group financial results / reputation / brand through good corporate governance, compliance with regulations, promote high standards of integrity, compliance and ethics.
You’re a match
- Qualified legal professional, with broad legal and business skills gained in a complex, fast-moving, international environment, with substantial experience regarding listed companies and strong knowledge in Banking & Finance law (including e-money/payment services regulations), ideally both in top-tier law firm and in-house (15+ years).
- Used to dealing with multi-cultural environment and all levels of management.
- Business and financial acumen, service driven and hands-on oriented, proactive, creative, able to find win-win pragmatic solutions.
- Team player, excellent negotiation and interpersonal/diplomacy communication skills, with high standards of integrity, compliance and ethics.
- Able to manage complex situations and projects autonomously from intake through to completion, while maintaining fluid communication with manager.
- Analytical mind, rigorous and methodical, able to prioritize high workload with short turnarounds.
- Excellent spoken and written skills in English and French, Spanish would be a plus.
- Flexibility to travel as appropriate.
