Our client, a leading Multinational Company in the Retail & Wholesale Industry, is currently looking for a:Financial Holding Manager The resource will report to the Book to Report Manager (Accounting) and serve as the interface among Treasury, Accounting, Consolidation, Tax, Legal, External Auditors, and the Projects/Systems teams on all matters related to financial activities and holdings under responsibility. This role includes team management responsibilities for a group of 5 Accountants.Areas of responsibility:Responsible for accounting of financial and treasury operations (internal and external financing, foreign exchange result monitoring, derivatives, mark-to-market, cash pooling structure, equity/financing operations (acquisition, capital increases, disposals of investments), both in FrenchGAAP and IFRSActive participation in the monthly closing process, including posting certain entries in the accounting ERP (SAP)Responsible for the proper reconciliation of bank reconciliations (80+ bank accounts) and cashpooling reconciliation (500+ positions)Responsible for the financial ICP reconciliation at month endResponsible for the notes to the standalone financial statements concerning financial and treasury items, in coordination with Group Treasury teamResponsible for the valuation of the investments (yearly annual impairment test of the shares) Responsible for the accounting and reporting of intermediate holding companies, including foreign entities, up to consolidated reporting Communication with external advisors and external auditors on the statutory financial audits Support to EMEA Tax Teams in review of the tax consolidation & tax analysis impactsSupport Group Treasury Team on all projects with accounting implicationsFollow-up on M&A operations (acquisitions, disinvestments) and costs related to the Group’s strategic acquisition projects (earn out & holdback assessments)Active participation in various projects within the department related to the scope (SAP deployment, integration of new entities, restructuring of the Group’s legal structure, projects with Consolidation Team, Treasury Team etc.)Ongoing monitoring and adaptation to changes in French regulations and IFRS standardsRequirements: Master or MBA in Finance, Economics or similarAt least 7 years of experience with background in an accounting firm, audit, or a similar role, with exposure to large corporate environmentsStrong interest in Corporate Treasury and holding related topicsExperience in transversal projects is a plusExperience with an ERP (SAP, HFM HYPERION), and KYRIBA (Treasury Management System) is a plusCuriosity, team spirit and communication skillsFluent in English and French other language speaking nice to have Location: Paris, France
