Who We’re Looking For:As a key member of the Sales team, the Sales Director France will lead the French sales team and provide key strategic leadership that will shape ongoing growth and expansion. The Sales Director will act as a commercial leader, create and develop a high-performance business culture, and effectively execute hands-on commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.About the Role:Understanding of the French Medical Device Market, the private and public hospital structure, and French Buying groups.Create and implement effective sales strategies (especially market segmentation, marketing/branding approach, etc.) and lead the sales team in France (and French overseas territories) towards achievement of corporate objectives and targets.Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching, and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs, and incentive planning.Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development, and retention of sales staff.Provide supervision through field visits, co-travel, observations, and measurement of results including performance appraisals and salary reviews.Work together with the Commercial Sales support organization to roll out the strategic plan and tactics.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business review presentations.Roll out sales forecasts and account mapping forecasts with the team.Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.Partner with the sales team to develop key customer relationship management.Negotiate purchase agreements personally, and with the assistance of sales staff.Maintain competitive knowledge about medical technology, especially in the urology market, to create and adjust sales strategies.Experience in a similar sales director position within a medical device company.Profound knowledge in contract and price negotiations.Excellent verbal and written skills in English and French are required.Why Laborie:Our Mission every day is to operate as a world-class specialist medical company making and advancing technologies that preserve and restore human dignity.
