Company Description

mRNA technology can deliver vaccines and therapies faster, at lower cost, and in places poorly served today — but it needs manufacturing that can scale just as fast. Dillico has built continuous, scale-up-free GMP mRNA equipment with high-level automation and digitization, backed by an experienced founding team, strong R&D expertise, and solid IP.

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the go-to-market for our All-ScaleFlow™ equipment and related services: mapping the market, prioritizing the highest-impact targets, and converting an existing network into qualified opportunities and equipment sales.

Ci-dessous, vous trouverez un détail complet de tout ce qui est requis des candidats potentiels, ainsi que la manière de postuler. Bonne chance.

Key Responsabilities

1. Market Intelligence & Strategy

• Map the global mRNA manufacturing ecosystem — biotech, large pharma, and CDMOs.

• Prioritize target accounts by deal impact, conversion likelihood, and strategic visibility.

• Understand capital equipment purchasing cycles and decision-making across technical, procurement, and manufacturing leadership.

• Distinguish in-house production buyers from CDMOs purchasing capacity for third parties.

2. Network Activation & Relationship Management

• Bring an established and growing network within the biopharma/bioprocessing ecosystem, with demonstrated ability to access senior technical and business decision-makers across pharma, biotech, and CDMOs, ideally international.

• Build trusted relationships to surface real customer needs and purchasing processes.

• Present and position the technology to the right stakeholders.

• Share market and customer insights with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Finance, and Legal to keep the offering aligned.

3. Commercial Execution

• Turn market analysis into an actionable sales plan — from targeting to qualified pipeline to closed deals.

• Generate and qualify leads via cold outreach, campaigns, conferences, and networking.

• Lead the sales process: presentations, visits, commercial follow-up along assessment projects, offers, and negotiation through to signature.

• Track client satisfaction and grow a client community to strengthen the brand.

• Maintain CRM data, report on sales activity, and suggest improvements to the sales process.

4. Strategic Positioning

• Translate customer needs into a compelling value proposition and ROI narrative.

• Adapt the commercial offer to each customer segment's constraints and priorities.

• Bring strong influencing skills and a partnership mindset — mindful of reputational and external-communications impact.

Candidate Profile

A hybrid profile — part market analyst, part strategic sales rep — already embedded in the bioprocessing/biomanufacturing equipment ecosystem, ideally with exposure to mRNA, gene therapy, or advanced biomanufacturing. Able to deliver a prioritized market map within a few weeks and activate an existing and growing network immediately, without a long ramp-up or reliance on cold prospecting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• 3-5 years in BioPharma/Life Sciences Business Development, with a proven track record in equipment sales to pharma, biotech, or CDMO.

• Established, ideally international network of decision-makers in mRNA, biologics, or advanced-therapy manufacturing.

• Strong analytical skills — able to independently map and prioritize a complex, fragmented market.

• Solid understanding of capital equipment procurement in regulated environments; skilled in complex technology sales.

• Credible with stakeholders at every level, from technical and procurement teams to C-suite.

• Fluent English; additional languages a plus given the role's international scope.

• Proactive, agile, and curious about start-up and deep-tech environments.
