**The role**
You will implement the international personnel policy locally across our French-speaking network (France, Belgium and Luxembourg) to optimise the well-being of our employees, the corporate culture and the working atmosphere. You will be part of a team supporting a network of 46 shops and up to 300 employees in high season.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**HR strategy and compliance**:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with French labour law
- Ensure compliance with company policies and French labour regulations
- Provide advice on employee relations, disciplinary measures and conflict resolution
- Participate in the development of human resources tools and projects in line with local and global strategy Managing social relations
**Employee relations**:
- Advising managers daily on all staff-related issues
- Fostering a positive working environment by encouraging open communication and resolving problems that employees may encounter
- Handle grievances, investigations and disciplinary matters relating to employees Monitor disciplinary files, contract terminations and any other procedures for terminating employment contracts
**Works council**:
- Effectively manage interactions and negotiations with the works council
- Preparing CSE meetings (invitations and attendance sheets) Organising professional elections (CSE and EBT)
**Talent acquisition**:
- Working with department managers to identify staffing needs Conduct interviews and make recruitment recommendations
**Training and development**:
- Identify training needs and develop programmes to improve employee skills
- Implementing career development and training plans Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness
**Remuneration and benefits**:
- Define remuneration and benefits policies Conduct market research to ensure competitive remuneration packages
**Measurement and monitoring**:
- Monitor and analyse HR indicators to assess the effectiveness of HR programmes
- Produce various HR reports (turnover, etc.)
- Experience in conducting diversity assessments and developing results-based action plans
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
**Experience & skills**
- Relevant qualifications in a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in human resources management in the retail sector or in a similar sector.
- Very good command of French and English.
- Sound knowledge of French employment legislation and regulations, including experience of working with works councils.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations and HR policy development, with a passion for promoting equity, diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to actively listen to different points of view.
- Knowledge of best practice and emerging trends in the field of equity, diversity and inclusion and success in implementing initiatives in this area.
- Ability to work in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of sales.
- Managerial experience is required for this position.
