Product Planning Trainee

**Missions**:
Delivering the voice of the European customer to the Chief Product Specialist, supporting the team to deliver most competitive product for Europe.
Support Section Manager in deploying regional product strategy by providing analysis & recommendation to secure product competitiveness.
Prepare appropriate documentation to communicate product information and recommendations to the appropriate departments within the Nissan organization.
**Main tasks**:
1 - ANALYSIS & RESEARCH
1a - Customer analysis
Report on regular basis customer data analysis (New Car Buyer Survey (NCBS), Product Clinics, Market Intelligence reports)
Continuous monitoring of model & competitors’ perception from customer point of view (New vehicule quality study, After Launch Surveys, Digital & Brand tracking)
1b - Product analysis
Run EV powertrains analysis for the model and competitors
Benchmark & report competitors’ evolution
1c - Business analysis
Volume & price analysis (Bubble charts, Price Value Competitiveness, Value Index/Value adjusted )
Analyse local line up built by Marketing vs regional strategy & milestones
Monitor EV Infrastructure evolution between AC and DC offer in coordination with Infrastructure Dept.
2- COMMUNICATION
Support product information sharing to all relevant stakeholders (continuous)
Support Marketing Manager in communication within the Region (Marketing platform preparation, Tech data )
Support Fact Finding Trip in collaboration with Marketing Dept.
3- SPECS MANAGEMENT & SYSTEMS

- Support & control spec managements and systems (continuous)
Control specs configuration trough spec list review
In collaboration with CMM (Chief Marketing Manager) & RPM (Regional Product Manager), provide to specs management team the draft spec master : Applied Model, Product Catalogue, color combinations, destination list
Confirm & control Product Catalogue below 25 options / Do Product Catalogue above 25 options/ Communicate options configuration to relevant departments (Business Planning, CMM) for them to prepare Product Catalogue

- Ad hoc tasks
Support CMM (Chief Marketing Manager) / Event team in trials orders & preparation for press/launch event preparation
**Background and experience**:
**You must**:
- Have an active interest in cars and the automotive industry
- Be passionate, creative and logical
- Understand automotive and EV technologies and market evolution in line with latest trends.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Have an Good understanding of Microsoft office tools, advanced MS Excel capability and Powerpoint is a strong advantage
- Ready to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
**Specific skills**:
Expertise in one of the following areas will be a strong advantage.
- Automotive Experience
- Automotive Engineering experience
- Marketing Experience
- Market research & Customer Trends
- Fluent in English
**Education**:
Requires a Convention de Stage/Internship Agreement from your University.
