What will you be doing?
We’re looking for a senior HR professional with a solid mix of France HR expertise and international exposure working within a matrixed organization across multiple geographies. Your role would act a senior HR leader in-country and be part of the country leadership team.
A strong track record of working and handling complex negotiation with working council is very important but also, influencing through thought leadership, driving change and transformation and navigating complex structures is required.
Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
= HR Leadership: Develop and execute the HR strategy for France, aligning it with Global HR objectives. Provide guidance and support to managers on HR matters, including change management, talent management, performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
= Social Relations: Lead the relationships with the French Works Council to implement local and global programs, policies and processes while ensuring they are compliant with local regulation requirements. Ensure maintaining a positive social climate through regular and open discussions with the Works Council in a post-merge context.
= Partner with the Vertical HRBP Leads and the Global Talent Enablement team to support the talent management process, including performance management, career development, and employee engagement initiatives.
= Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the EMEA Total Rewards team to develop and implement competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs for the country and participate in the Annual Salary and Bonus review process in partnership with the Vertical HRBP Leads.
= Learning and Development: Partner with the Global Talent Enablement team and the Vertical HRBP Leads to roll out global employee learning and development programs to enhance individual and organizational capabilities.
= Change Management: Lead HR change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other business transformations. Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees during periods of change to minimize disruption and foster a positive transition.
= Compliance and Ethics: Ensure HR practices comply with local employment laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
= HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics, data, and analytics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
**Requirements**:
= Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
= Extensive experience in HR management roles, at multinational and matrixed organization, with a focus on France.
= Strong knowledge of French labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
= Extensive experience on managing relations with Works Councils and/or employee representatives
= Proven track record of implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
= Experience in performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
= Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
= Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
= Ability to think out of the box and propose creative solutions.
= Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
= Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR tools and technologies.
= Fluency in both English and French.
