The Data Business Partner is accountable of the execution and continuous adaptation of SCOR data strategy (Convergence 26), in playing a pivotal role to align function initiatives with SCOR data strategy.

In the frame of the ongoing transformation at Group level, data is at the core of SCOR strategic plan _Forward 2026. _As one of the four enables to achieve it, SCOR data strategy (Convergence 26) plays a crucial part, and needs to be continuously adapted to achieve successfully this plan.

The Data Business Partner plays a pivotal role to align business initiatives with SCOR data strategy, through:

- Strategic alignment of initiatives & requirements gathering
- Data consultation & expert advice
- Data governance, quality, training & communication
- Performance measurement

Under the responsibility of the Head of Data Strategy & Governance, your duties will encompass:
**1.Strategic Alignment**:

- Collaborate with business units to understand their strategic goals and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between the data team and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of data-related initiatives.

**2.Data Consultation**:

- Provide expert advice to business units on leveraging data for decision-making, process improvement, and innovation.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping business stakeholders understand the value of data in achieving their objectives.

**3.Requirements Gathering**:

- Work closely with business units to gather and document data requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Translate business needs into actionable data initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.

**4.Data Governance and Quality**:

- Advocate for and ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards within the business units.
- Collaborate with the data governance team to establish and maintain data quality practices.

**5.Data Training and Communication**:

- Facilitate training sessions for business users to enhance their understanding of available data resources and tools.
- Communicate data-related updates, changes, and best practices to ensure widespread awareness and adoption.

**6.Performance Measurement**:

- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data initiatives, working with business units to measure the impact of data on business outcomes.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to demonstrate the value of data-driven decisions.

**Required experience & competencies**
- Proven experience in a business-facing role, with a focus on data-related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align data solutions with business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with data governance principles and data quality best practices.

**Required Education**

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field.
