We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our European team based in the Paris office. As a HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and providing strategic HR support to teams across Europe. You will be responsible for fostering positive employee relations, implementing HR programs, and supporting talent management initiatives.
**What you'll do**:
**HRIS Management & Employee Records**:
- Work with the Europe management team & US HR team to maintain accurate and up to date employee records in Lattice
- Conduct Monthly Audits
- Maintain up to date and accurate/compliant employee files.
- Maintain department structures/organisational charts
- Track all holidays and absence
**Employee Relations**:
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts, grievances, and performance management.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote employee engagement.
**Talent Acquisition and Onboarding**:
- Support onboarding activities, including new hire orientation, onboarding new hires into Lattice, to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the organisation.
- Do proper check ins for new hires, 60-day, promotion and intern manager check ins.
**Performance Management**:
- Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management techniques and practices.
- Ensure accuracy of records in performance management system
- Assist in, set up and launching of review cycles in partnership with Material Bank US HR
**Learning and Development**:
- Identify training and development needs within the organisation and collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver relevant learning initiatives.
- Support career development and succession planning efforts to ensure a pipeline of talent for key roles.
**HR Policy and Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant European employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies.
**HR Analytics and Reporting**:
- Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, measure HR program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
- Keep all HR metrics up to date.
- Track against goals
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on HR metrics and key performance indicators.
**Off-boarding**:
- Handle all voluntary/involuntary communications (including timely responses with employees and managers)
- Partner with legal and management for involuntary terminations as it relates to compliance.
- Ensure seamless off-boarding experience for employees and managers.
- Maintain exit interview data and contribute to employee lifecycle metrics.
- Analyze turnover trends
- Coordinate offboarding with IT through Jira
- Collect equipment and maintain company assets.
**Organisation & Communication**:
- Maintain/Update Internal and External Confluence pages for Europe
- Track all people changes (new hires, terminations, employee changes/updates, etc.)
- Respond to employee questions/inquiries
- Survey Analysis and support execution of action plans.
**What you'll bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in a start up or scale up would be an avantage
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in France and Europe
- Bilingual French/English essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
