**Role**:
To expand our territory and grow our sales in France, we have a vacancy for a Key Account Manager France. The Key Account Manager France is responsible for the ranging and development of the Universal Electronics /One For All portfolio offered for sale via distributors or retailers.
Based on market data, trends and competitors analyses, the Key Account Manager France will formulate and execute the business development strategy. The Key Account Manager France will seek, identify and secure opportunities with both existing and new distributors/retails and develop new markets, seeking new sales channels and expand the business.
The Key Account Manager France works in a cross functional team and reports to the Sales Director, cluster West. The position requires extensive travelling within territory and occasionally to the sales headquarters in The Netherlands.
**Main tasks & responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement and execute strategic plans per market and distributor / retailer;
- Quarterly forecasting per region/distributor/retailer and reporting on strategy, planning, volume, returns and sales;
- Manage sales via distributors and retailers. Evaluate their performance and act accordingly. Be creative, seek new ways of working and come solutions to expand opportunities;
- Negotiate with distributors and retailers on pricing, margins, promotions etc.;
- Build up and manage good relationships with (potential) clients and stakeholders;
- Develop new markets, seeking new sales channels and expand the business;
- Responsible for achieving budgeted Net Sales through effectively managing volume, discounts and returns. Responsible for the expense budget;
- Introduce and train sales teams and clients on new product introductions;
- Visit retailers to monitor representation on OFA brand and products;
- Gather and make relevant product and market information available for analyses.
**Role requirements**:
- Minimum bachelor degree or level in marketing and economics;
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales role in a distributor / retail environment (FMCG, DIY);
- Experience with consumer electronics is a plus;
- Proven track record with achieving sales targets, setting up and executing business strategies and win sales opportunities;
- Capable to do commercial planning and proficient forecasting;
- Commercial, result driven, self starter and passion to win;
- Fluent in English and French. Other languages are a plus;
- Concise communicator with excellent personal and presentation skills;
- Living in France.
