We are currently looking for a Rooms Division Manager to join the INSEAD hotels’ team in our Fontainebleau campus. This is a full time, permanent contract.
The job holder will be responsible for the following critical tasks:
1. Managing the INSEAD Hotels Front Desk (approximately 20 people):

- Recruitment and training
- Monitoring performance & setting objectives;
- Creating and developing processes;
- Organizing & animating team meetings & internal communications.
- Approving monthly planning and absence requests;
- Providing advice and managing conflict resolution to staff;
- Supervising the training and progress of 2 apprentices.

2. Customer Satisfaction, Feedback, Quality & KPIs:

- Managing guest relations & complaints;
- Satisfying INSEAD's hotel guests and enhancing guest services;
- Promoting & conducting visits of properties;
- Identifying and arranging special needs & welcomes.
- Initiating and analyzing customer feedback & statistics;
- Implementing actions plans;
- Carrying out quality inspections with maintenance & housekeeping teams;
- Following KPIs & seeking to improve services & revenue;
3. Security Standards & Environment:

- Ensuring a safe environment for guests and the respect of legal obligations for a public accessible building;
- Managing staff and supplier fire prevention training, evacuation drills and use of fire detection system;
4. Back Office
- Supervising invoicing, pro-forma requests & follow-up of any unsettled payments.
- Managing expenses, spending and budget of the Front Desk & inventories of goods, equipment and materials.

5. Project Management:

- Contributing to various projects and initiatives: hotel pricing and operating strategy; sustainable development & energy savings; acquisition & takeover of Residence Viatte etc.

6. Member of the Campus Services Management Team
- Replacing the Director of INSEAD Hotels in her absence
- Higher education in Hospitality or Administration
- Significant experience
- Both autonomous and collaborative
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English is required, Fluent French an asset
- Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to multi-task with attention to details
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to change
