As the Private Chef at Les Bateaux Belmond, you'll have the unique opportunity to create culinary experiences that are as memorable as the scenery itself. Your culinary artistry will be the centerpiece of our guests' journey, transforming each meal into a symphony of flavors that reflect the local terroir and showcase your passion for gastronomy. Seasonal position, from April to October 2025.
Mandatory induction week March 24th, 2025.
**Primary Responsibilities Include**:

- To create and deliver innovative and authentic menus, committed to ethical sourcing and sustainable practices, to be served onboard to our guests and crews throughout their stay.
- Ensure that the quality & quantity of preparations are in line with the brand standards
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards for the kitchen.
- Monitoring food inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and reporting any maintenance issues

**Requirements**:
**What you bring**:
A passion for the culinary arts and delivering an excellent guest experience.
Familiarity with different types of cuisines and the ability to adapt yourself when facing a last-minute request, or specific allergies/dietary needs.
Knowledge of ethical food sourcing and sustainable practices is advantageous.
Mandatory hospitality experience in a luxury environment.
Fluency in English is essential, and French notions are a plus.
A valid, up-to-date hygiene certificate is mandatory.
