As a **Territory Sales Representative**, you will be selling directly to Territory accounts of our leading NoSQL database, Capella. You will be part of a sales team that has established Couchbase as the most performant NoSQL Database in the world.
You’ll be driving opportunities in France, selling the value of our product and services offering on the Territory Market. You will be the owner of your territory and build the sales strategy on it.
**Responsibilities**:
- Close business to meet or exceed quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
- Uncover opportunity at existing accounts and establish new accounts to develop sales pipeline
- Conduct presentation of the company and product line
- Conduct high-level demonstration of the products
- Travel to customer sites
- Manage opportunities and forecast.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- 4-6 years selling in the data world. (database, integration, business intelligence, analytics, ML/AI)
- Can articulate a track record of producing as new logo/pipeline generator at startup or small company with large company competition
- Was part of building a brand
- May have just moved from inside sales to a field role (1-2 years of their overall experience)
- Trained in Strategic Selling methodology (M-H, MEDDIC desired)
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player
- Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive extremely fast
**Minumum qualifications**:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- Superb relationship building skills and ability to show value to clients
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player
- Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive extremely fast
