GEOVIA is seeking a Strategic Planning Specialist to assist in driving GEOVIA’s mid
- to long-term strategy through diversification, partnerships and M&A activities. If you are passionate about corporate development then this is the right role for you

**Mission**

As part of the GEOVIA strategy team, you will help develop various elements of the GEOVIA brand strategy through market analysis, strategic investigations into new domains, as well as, technology partnership and M&A target evaluation and business case creation. You’ll also work with other Brand, Industry, Sales and R&D teams to maximize the value creation opportunities for Dassault Systèmes and our customers.

**The challenges ahead**
- Define, evaluate and execute strategic growth initiatives for the brand across multiple time horizons (1Y-3Y-6Y), fostering recommendations & changes across all 3DS organizations as a strategic partner to achieve mid/long-term vision.
- Perform ad hoc strategic assessments in new domains resulting in new referential creation
- Analyze market trends and challenges, as well as, opportunity sizing and competitive landscape in existing and new segments and disciplines with an understanding of the changing competitive nature of technology relationships and position Dassault Systèmes/GEOVIA’s interests accordingly
- Work with R&D on portfolio gap analysis and recommended M&A and partnership targets
- Assistance with / preparation of internally and externally focused pitch decks for M&A targets, technology and strategic partners. Example sections include alignment with Dassault Systèmes and GEOVIA strategy, strategic rationale, market sizing, financial implications and modeling, competitive landscape, SWOT, risks, mitigation and assumptions.
- Provide detailed reporting and data analysis on GEOVIA’s closed, current and future Alliances deal flow.

**Qualifications**

Ability to think strategically and provide insights related to the internal and external business drivers facing Dassault Systèmes and GEOVIA - Four year university degree, preferably in engineering.
- 8-10 years’ experience in one or more of the following: strategic planning, partnership management, corporate development, product management or finance in a software technology company.
- Subject matter expertise in areas such as Infrastructure, GIS, Sustainability, Cities, Construction
- Knowledge of or user of 3DS technologies (GEOVIA or sister brand technologies is an asset)
- Proactive, results-oriented collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, business modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
- Flexible and effective in collaborating remotely with global stakeholders and time zones
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision; proactively escalate issues when unable to resolve on own
