Job Overview
Directs activities to ensure the unrestricted flow of quality, confidential, cost effective data and information services between data sources, IQVIA and other healthcare customers across a large region or within a large market.

Essential Functions
- Develops and executes successful strategic plan to address major competitive threats.
- Provides competitive information to sales and marketing management.
- Works with Sales, Marketing and Finance Management to develop strategies and tactics to achieve optimal cost containment and ensure support of core databases. Originates new concepts, strategies and innovative approaches to impact IQVIA’ relationships with senior executives at key data suppliers.
- Identifies new product opportunities that could be jointly developed/marketed, as well as provides tailored information services that guide our partners toward optimizing their market performance.
- Develops proposals to secure business opportunities.
- Creates new services between pharmaceutical manufacturers, retailers and IQVIA.
- Oversees provision of information services in barter revenue.
- Nurtures relationships with key executives within the national accounts and cultivates new relationships with data suppliers.
- Develops value added information/programs IQVIA can offer as a source of revenue and/or a way to minimize increases in acquisition cost in future contracts. Participates in multi-year, multi-million dollar contract negotiations of national accounts and oversees implementation, coordination and follow through of all contracts and information services agreements.
- Engages pharmaceutical manufacturers in supplier discussions as necessary.
- Provides direction and leadership to supplier management function when located within a large market.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree Req
- Nine (9) years previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry developing and leading an organization dealing with chain drug and drug wholesalers. Req
- Experience in the managed care environment along with the knowledge of the third party reimbursement system. Req
- Contacts at senior executive level necessary at chain drug and drug wholesaler plus understanding of key supplier issues.
