Head of E-commerce - Freelance or CDD - Replacing maternity leave - H/F/NB Jimmy Fairly, Opticians, founded in Paris in 2010, is a French brand offering high‑end eyewear at a revolutionary price. The company cuts out middlemen to provide fair prices without compromising quality. We are looking for a replacement for our Head of e‑commerce who will cover the maternity leave of an employee. The position will run from mid‑April to October. Key Missions I. Online Customer Experience Optimization (UI / UX) Objective: Enhance the online experience with a focus on e‑commerce conversion, drive traffic to store, and increase customer satisfaction. On‑going performance analysis and identification of UX pain points. Coordination with the design studio for mock‑up development. Management of 1–2 developers and coordination with IT for website development. Bugs monitoring and resolution. Identification and management of partners to improve the online experience (VTO, personalization, etc.). II. E‑commerce Revenue Growth, Merchandising, and Performance Monitoring Objective: Increase e‑shop revenue to achieve growth targets without compromising brand image. Daily monitoring and analysis of KPIs: traffic, conversion rate, revenue, average basket size across our sites. Daily monitoring and optimisation of e‑merchandising to keep a consistently appealing site. Support monitoring of marketing expenses (Ads) with an e‑commerce profitability objective. Weekly sales tracking and identification of web best‑sellers to provide inputs to the product/merchandising team. III. E‑commerce Experience and Expansion Objective: Provide a tailored customer experience in key countries with significant growth potential. Contribute to identifying high‑growth potential markets. Enhance the purchasing experience to increase conversion (checkout funnel, delivery fees, payments, return policy, etc.). Coordinate different vendors and/or IT for implementing new market launch projects or localising the experience. Profile 5 years+ experience as an e‑commerce manager or head of e‑commerce, in a retail or luxury company. Analytics mindset and eager to improve experience and go the extra mile.
