Cloud & AI Presales Consultant – France SoftwareOne is seeking an experienced Cloud & AI Presales Consultant to inspire clients and evangelize our capabilities across new and existing accounts. You will proactively create demand, close business, and drive momentum across the deal cycle in a commercially targeted role. Responsibilities Map white space within accounts, identify new lines of business, and unlock value using Azure, Azure OpenAI, Data, and Microsoft Fabric. Build value hypotheses tied to business outcomes (cost, risk, growth, experience) to secure executive‑level conversations. Co‑own account penetration strategy, ensuring multi‑threaded engagement across business and IT. Lead early discovery with senior stakeholders to surface pain points, shape problem statements, and align our capabilities to measurable outcomes. Collaborate with sales team and clients to assess requirements, objectives, constraints, and scope opportunities effectively. Utilize analytical skills to scope and size opportunities, define margins, and ensure profitability while meeting client expectations. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights. Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle and identify cross‑selling or upselling opportunities. Contribute to shared technical and business knowledge of the PreSales team and over‑achieve sales targets. Qualifications 7+ years of experience presenting to and negotiating with C‑Level executives, IT, line of business, procurement, finance, and legal in large deals. Strong value‑led prospecting and multi‑threading, org mapping, and securing senior stakeholder access. Proven ability to penetrate accounts and win large‑scale professional services programmes. Strategic thinker with execution pace and precision. Team player able to collaborate with Delivery, Pre‑Sales, Marketing, and Sales teams. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets. Experience applying AI and ML to real‑world problems across domains such as healthcare, finance, retail, etc. Broad Azure literacy (landing zones, governance, identity, networking, security, FinOps). Data platform know‑how: lakehouse concepts, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, and BI adoption patterns. Azure OpenAI understanding: model selection, prompting basics, RAG patterns, safety/guardrails. Knowledge of compliance requirements: GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2. Awareness of cloud security best practices. Organizational Alignment Reports to the PreSales Leader in the Sales organization and collaborates with Delivery, Pre‑Sales, Marketing, and Sales teams to align opportunities.
