Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy with a focus on building and expanding a robust network of distribution partners across the Region of France. Full Responsibility for New Machine & Life‑cycle Service sales for Region France: Maintain and enhance relationships with key customers and distribution partners, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Establish and execute regular customer visits. Act as the main point of contact for major accounts and oversee complex negotiations. Market Expansion: Lead efforts to penetrate new markets and industry segments through strategic partnerships with local distributors and other strategic partners. Tailor market entry strategies to the unique economic and business environments within the region. Identify core industry segments and actively approach them. Team Development: Hire and manage a high‑performing regional sales & service team and collaborate closely with distribution partners to achieve sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to drive excellence for the local team. Interface, Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the global leadership team, including detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, competition and strategic initiatives. Foster open communication between the region and the global headquarter. Financial Management: Oversee and manage the financial performance of the subsidiary, focusing on maximizing profitability through effective sales strategies and cost management. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and P&L. Your Profile A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable. Resident in the market. Proven track record of building and managing distribution networks and managing sales teams. Market Knowledge: In‑depth knowledge of the French Packaging Machines market, including economic, cultural, and business landscapes. Experience in developing and executing sales strategies through distribution partners in diverse markets. A proven track record of achieving business objectives, driving growth, and delivering results. A minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience in the packaging machinery industry or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on sales, business development and partner management. Robust knowledge of strategic and conceptual market development, the sustainable alignment of all processes and activities to the requirements of the markets and the alignment of a "team" to achieve the goals. Familiarity with sales issues in dealing with customer‑side planning, budgeting and decision‑making processes and confident handling of customer‑side buying centres. Good methodical skills in the areas of communication and presentation as well as a general entrepreneurial attitude. Open and integrative personality, reliable and authentic demeanor. Analytical, clear and structured thinking and behaviour. Persistence and assertiveness as well as constructiveness and solution‑orientation. Intercultural and international experience and eloquent behaviour in global structures and multicultural project teams. Business fluent in English.
