Currently, we are seeking a bilingual Assistant Project Manager on a part-time freelance basis. Importantly, this is a uniquely flexible role that can be tailored to your existing schedule. Consequently, it is perfectly suited for: The "Auto-Entrepreneur": A younger professional already freelancing in the region who wants a stable, long-term "anchor" contract. The Lifestyle Professional: Alternatively, a seasoned expert living in the Côte d’Azur who wishes to utilise their years of experience without the commitment of full-time hours. Key Details: Bilingual Freelance Assistant Project Manager, France Commitment: 10 Hours Per week (the schedule is negotiable). Duration: 3-Year Project Lifecycle. The Work: A high-spec, high-value luxury residential build requiring meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities You will act as the vital link between the international consultancy team and the local delivery on-site. In this role, your duties include: Site Coordination: Conducting progress meetings with local French contractors while ensuring the international client's standards are met. Bilingual Documentation: Ensuring site instructions as well as progress reports and technical queries are accurately communicated in both French and English. Project Monitoring: Tracking the master programme and subsequently reporting any deviations or risks to the Senior Project Manager. Contract Admin: Assisting with local French administration to ensure compliance with regional building standards. Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable) To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria: Language Fluency: Above all, you must be fluent in French and English (spoken and written). Experience: A solid background in Project Management, Building Surveying, or Site Management. Furthermore, consultancy-side or luxury residential experience is required. Contractual Status: Specifically, you must be legally registered as a self-employed professional in France (Auto-Entrepreneur, EI, or via a SASU/EURL). Location: You must be a current resident who is also within a commutable distance of the Nice/Cannes area.
