Our client, top leading global law firm, is looking for a Public Relations Lead to join their Brand & Communications team in Paris, focusing primarily on enhancing the firm's reputation and supporting its practices and industries. As a pivotal member of the Brand & Communications department, you will have the opportunity to shape impactful PR programs and contribute to the firm's continued success. With a deep understanding of public relations and a flair for strategic communication, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the law firm's outstanding reputation. Key Responsibilities: Build relationships with key reporters at relevant media outlets and supervise firm contacts with external media; serving as the primary point of contact for any appointed PR agency. Develop and execute strategic PR initiatives, including drafting press releases, securing media placements, and leveraging thought leadership opportunities. Place attorney-written articles as by-lined commentary in publications; identify opportunities to leverage thought leadership – in all forms – for press commentary Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling content for digital and social media channels, including the Paris office showcase page on LinkedIn, enhancing the firm's online presence and visibility. Draft and coordinate award entries and survey submissions, facilitating interviews as required; supporting BD colleagues with submissions for the main legal directories. Provide strategic guidance and support to colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the Brand & Communications team. Key Requirements: Demonstrated experience in public relations or related fields, ideally within a professional services environment or PR agency. Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in both French and English, and a keen attention to detail. Strong understanding of PR principles and best practices, including digital marketing, branding, and media relations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. Collaborative mindset with a passion for driving results and making a positive impact within the organisation. Adept at building and maintaining relationships with media, industry influencers, and internal stakeholders.
