Payroll Partner (France - Remote) Veralto – Join a global leader in essential technology solutions. At Veralto, we protect water supplies, food, medicine and essential goods worldwide. As a key member of the HR Services team, you will deliver strategic and operational payroll support for France, while providing support for other countries as needed. This position is part of the HR Services team; it is headquartered in France and will be remote. Responsibilities: Manage assigned caseload for Tier 1 payroll requests, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and service quality standards are exceeded. Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups, with focus on France and support for other countries. Manage the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input payroll‑related data, and ensure timely salary payments in compliance with statutory and collective agreements. Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate calculations and timely submission of social security contributions, taxes and other statutory requirements. Interact with HR and finance during monthly payroll activities by updating related HRIS and communicating hire, leaver, transfer, promotion and organisational changes. Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance and document procedures, ensuring internal controls are in place. Correspond with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions and other authorities. Process supplementary insurance and pension plans. Prepare payroll reports, certificates and forms; reconcile accounts with the financial accounting department; produce annual financial statements. Essential requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field, and a minimum of 2 years of proven payroll experience. Deep knowledge of local labour, tax and social security regulations in France (additional country‑specific knowledge welcomed). Experience working within multicultural, international teams, collaborating with Finance and HR business partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information; strong communication, tone, messaging, execution, planning and ownership skills. Problem‑solving and results‑oriented mindset with excellent organisational abilities. Proficient in French and English (additional European languages welcomed). Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday; proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential. Work environment: We value diversity and inclusivity.
