Responsibilities Lead pre‑sales and sales activities to promote the Sysmex Flow Cytometry portfolio and achieve financial targets. Administer a designated sales territory and coordinate with Cytometry System Specialists, HSAMs, technical service, marketing and corporate members. Formulate and implement a detailed Territory Plan with appropriate sales strategies. Execute all stages of the sales process: prospecting, qualifying, development, demonstration, proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing. Prepare documentation to process purchase orders and contracts from customers. Present and promote all Sysmex product lines to highlight product superiority and benefits over competitors. Maintain proper records of customer interactions using the company CRM tools. Additional duties as required to meet business needs. Physical Demands Moderate physical activity. Routine handling of objects 21‑50 pounds and continuous walking or inspection at least 80% of the time. May require periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting and other conditions. Travel Extensive travel up to 70% of the time. Compensation Salary range $120K–$150K annually. Total compensation includes health care plans, an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave, and a 401(k) for eligible employees. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 5‑7 years of experience in flow cytometry, immunology, cell biology or related discipline (life sciences specialization preferred). Med Tech or ASCP certification preferred. Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. General computer knowledge in a Windows environment required; basic knowledge of LIS systems and interfacing principles desirable. Adult teaching skills and experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical information associated with Sysmex instruments and reagents in simple terms. Outstanding listening and learning skills, patience and understanding. Flexibility in challenging situations. Demonstrated presentation and influence skills. Team orientation; demonstrated facilitation skills. Maintaining stable performance under project timelines.
