About Prelude Prelude is on a mission to improve onboarding and trust for our customers. Today, our flagship product focuses on authentication: enabling businesses to send OTP codes at the best price-to-conversion ratio by dynamically selecting the most effective channel (SMS vs WhatsApp), while blocking costly spam attacks that traditional providers often overlook. Although Prelude was founded just three years ago, we’ve already achieved healthy financials and strong product‑market fit. Our authentication offering is just the beginning. The Team The Prelude team started with four former Zenly team members, a social network acquired by Snapchat in 2017. We created Prelude in response to a problem we saw there: current SMS authentication offerings are too expensive, unreliable, and offer little to no protection against spam. We value a small, highly skilled team with a flat hierarchy. This keeps us focused on what matters most: delivering value to customers. At our current stage, we believe in being together in our offices in Opéra, Paris — where collaboration is spontaneous and ideas flow quickly. About the Role As a Mid‑Market Account Executive, you'll be responsible for driving growth across one of Prelude’s most strategic segments: mid‑sized businesses with high‑scale authentication needs. You’ll own the full sales cycle, manage complex evaluations with multiple stakeholders, and partner closely with our technical teams to deliver high‑impact solutions. You’ll help shape our mid‑market motion, refine our GTM strategy, and play a meaningful role in expanding Prelude’s footprint across Europe and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience closing mid‑market deals and wants to join a fast‑growing startup where their impact is immediate and visible. What You’ll Do Own and manage the sales cycle for mid‑market accounts, from outbound prospecting to contract execution. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high‑value prospects across key verticals. Lead consultative discovery processes to understand customer needs, technical requirements, and decision criteria. Deliver high‑quality demos and value‑driven pitches tailored to mid‑market use cases. Navigate multiple stakeholders — from product and engineering to procurement and legal. Consistently exceed quota while maintaining healthy win rates and sales velocity. Deliver on cross‑sell, up‑sell and renewal opportunities Share insights from customer interactions to help refine product strategy, messaging, and positioning. Represent Prelude at industry events, conferences, and on‑site customer meetings. About You You have 3–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including experience closing mid‑market deals. You have a strong track record of achieving or exceeding quota. You are comfortable managing multi‑stakeholder, multi‑step sales processes (technical and commercial). You’re curious, technically minded, and enjoy unpacking how products work under the hood. You think strategically about accounts and know how to identify and engage economic buyers. You thrive in fast‑paced environments and enjoy taking initiative. You’re an excellent communicator with strong relationship‑building skills. You’re fluent in English (French is a strong plus). You’re excited about Prelude’s mission and want to help build a category‑defining company. What We Offer Competitive salary with uncapped commission and generous BSPCEs.
