Salesforce Administrator – Canonical You are invited to apply for the Salesforce Administrator role at Canonical. Join us to help deliver first‑class experience to Canonical business operations. Canonical is a leading provider of open‑source software and operating systems for global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. The Commercial Systems unit encompasses several areas across five engineering teams, collaborating with other teams at Canonical. The Business Systems team manages systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business platforms. The engineers work closely with operations teams to implement business processes and keep the systems compliant. Location This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. Role responsibilities Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews Learn Canonical business processes Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback (depending on seniority) Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices What we are looking for Exceptional academic track record from high school and university Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path Track record of going above and beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills Result‑oriented mindset, with personal drive to meet commitments Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long Nice‑to‑have skills Performance engineering and security experience Experience with accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles Benefits Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly team sprints in person Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year Annual compensation review Recognition rewards Annual holiday leave Maternity and paternity leave Employee Assistance Program Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues Priority Pass, and travel upgrades for long‑haul company events About Canonical Canonical is a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of the open‑source movement.
