Being an integral part of the CFO organization, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence outcomes at the intersection of data analytics, strategy, and financial performance optimization.The ideal candidate will bring 5-8 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or strategy roles within direct-to-consumer (D2C) or tech-enabled companies, or consulting. We’re looking for someone with a strong passion for turning data into compelling narratives and a demonstrated ability to influence outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.What will you do?Advanced Analytics and Insights: Perform in-depth analytical deep-dives to uncover actionable insights on marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and conversion levers, enabling smarter and more informed decision-making.Business Strategy: Partner with the CFO and business decision makers to shape and operationalize the company’s strategic roadmap, quantifying and accelerating impact on growth, efficiency, and profitability.Performance Monitoring and Data Strategy Development: Work closely with Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to design KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and implement our business intelligence roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders by transforming complex data into clear, compelling recommendations that drive high-impact decisions.What will you NOT do?You will NOT worry about runway, cash left, or how much time we have until the next round. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.RequirementsExperience: 5–8 years in strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles, preferably within D2C or fast-paced, high-growth tech environments or in consulting.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.Technical skills: Expert SQL skills, preferably proficient in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, R) and with one or more BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau); advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities; strong presentation skills in PowerPoint or Google SlidesBig Data Fluency: Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and leveraging big data technologies or platforms to derive insights at scale.Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to link analytics to business outcomes, influence company performance, and support strategic decisions with data.Communication: Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior and cross-functional audiences.Bias for Action: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
