Job Title: Project Quality and Safety Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Project Quality and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project quality and safety teams to ensure compliance with Alstom processes and customer requirements.
  • Anticipate resource needs and consolidate the PrQSM workload for the site on a quarterly basis.
  • Develop and implement training plans for quality and safety teams.
  • Control the application of the Development for Quality (DFQ) process and validate each milestone.
  • Support project teams to ensure project safety, quality assurance, and coordination of all quality and safety activities.
  • Monitor Alstom Participating Units at DFQ level and measure their performance.
  • Ensure that all REX of all métiers have been considered in the Risks & Opportunities and closely monitor to prevent occurrence.
  • Improve tender quality during the tender phase upon request.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering with a Management background.
  • Experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of railway industry norms and certifications is an asset.
  • Awareness of Processes and Products delivered in the project.
  • Fluent in English.
Competencies and Skills:
  • Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,).
  • Experience in operational activities and documentation management.
  • Collaboration and team working.
