Job Title: Dual Director of Sales-Fairfield Inn/TownePlace Suites by Marriott

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dual Director of Sales to join our team at Allyson Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating top-line revenue and RevPAR for the Complex through successful selling strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales action plans to enhance revenues effectively.

• Ensure hotel participation in all brand revenue management initiatives.

• Contribute to property revenue meetings to maximize revenue and profit.

• Articulate and leverage the benefits of the hotel to close sales opportunities.

• Solicit and negotiate business with new and existing clients through daily prospecting, outside sales calls, e-communications, telemarketing, referrals, site tours, and networking.

• Timely submission of required reports to General Managers and Corporate Director of Hotel Operations.

• Maintain a great rapport with local civic organizations, convention & visitors bureaus, and companies doing business within the market.

• Develop and maintain a working relationship with Marriott Global Sales Office.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.

• Ensure that team members are familiar with key accounts and specifics relating to business booked within the hotels.

• Ascertain that hotel credit procedures are followed.

Requirements:

• Two or more years of experience as a Senior Sales Manager, Assistant Director of Sales, or Director of Sales.

• 5 years of Hospitality Management experience or more preferred.

• Front Desk experience preferred but not required.

• Marriott experience preferred.

• Local market knowledge and experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Hospitality/Business/or Marketing Degree preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills/a team player needed.

• Solid understanding of Revenue Management Principles.
