Job Title: Field Service Coordinator

Wärtsilä is a world leader in marine technology, driving the industry's transformation towards a decarbonised and sustainable future. As a Field Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the maintenance operations of our Field Service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate Field Service activities, including personnel, spare parts, costs, and time.
  • Coordinate multiple service jobs simultaneously.
  • Support field service personnel when assigned on a job and take responsibility for briefing and debriefing of engineers before and after the jobs.
  • Plan and prepare projects, monitoring Field Service KPIs.
  • Act as the contact person for customers from project kick-off to invoicing.
  • Communicate with customers, engineers, and sales during the delivery of Field Service jobs.
  • Promote effective communication with other departments to ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  • Follow-up and supervise needed actions to secure customer satisfaction regarding Field Service jobs assigned.
  • Manage all jobs in SAP and CRM (ServiceWorkForce) from an administrative standpoint.
  • Ensure that engineers execute the work according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer procedures.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical knowledge (technical school with Field Service Engineer experience or bachelor's degree in engineering).
  • Technical understanding of marine products and services, and/or internal combustion engines is a plus.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, and ideally skilled on SAP & Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate daily with many different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in people management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Fluent English.
