Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to manage our pilot plant operations and innovation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts in the development and implementation of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of ~25 people with 5 direct reports across multiple sites in France and the US.
  • Develop and implement pilot plant capabilities, including the execution of pilot hubs abroad and the rationalization of business management.
  • Manage budgets and CAPEX investments for the entire RID, including the structuring of needs, follow-up and validation of expenses, and monitoring of investments.
  • Ensure compliance with food certifications and quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement digital management and traceability tools, as well as industrial transposition projects.
  • Contribute to the Research and Application Steering Committee and ensure the commitment of collaborators behind the role and mission of the team.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in R&D or Operations with a solid technical background.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Excellent technological skills, particularly in dairy and/or cheese processes.
  • Managerial experience on teams of significant size.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • Empathy and listening skills.
  • Ability to lead complex multidisciplinary transformations and projects.
  • Excellent quality of monitoring and execution of action plans, rigor, structuring, and organization.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and manage change.
  • French and English compulsory.
