Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mechanical Cell Design Engineer to join our team at Verkor. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical parts and their integration with product and process design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the design process from concept to D sample, validating and reviewing the design with stakeholders at each stage.
- Act as a mentor to fellow mechanical cell design engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team.
- Plan, direct, and follow up on project-related testing and industrialization activities.
- Identify and meet special customer requirements related to mechanical design.
- Lead design reviews, both internal and external, within the confines of mechanical and cell structural analysis.
- Ensure the integration of product design with process design.
- Lead innovation and design for manufacturing projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, materials, or similar engineering.
- At least 6+ years of experience in module, electronics, or sheet metal industry, or 4+ years in li-ion battery design.
- Design experience in relevant cell formats.
